The Salubrious Vampire: December 2006

Friday, December 08, 2006. What I've Learned From My First College Semester. That isn't from classes. 1 College Murphy's Law Corollary: If a test is outside of regular class hours, it will be scheduled for the worst possible time. 2 If you have the latest video game system, you are the coolest person EVER. You won't get to use it however, as everyone else will want to. 3 Never take a laptop to class, even if you need it to work on schoolwork. Your productivity will be shot. 11 People will run down the ha...

Monday, July 31, 2006. A Treasure Trove of Something. A Burger King Uruk-hai limited edition figure, collected several years ago, sat in my room doing nothing for.several years. It was posted on ebay a week ago, and fetched 62 dollars of a roughly 40-60 dollar price range. Just goes to show you should always value everything you have in ebay dollars. The Salubrious Vampire: October 2006
http://salubriousvampire.blogspot.com/2006_10_01_archive.html
Tuesday, October 31, 2006. No food in lab. Leave food here. Thus says one of the stranger signs I have seen on the UT campus. It may seem perfectly normal, until one starts to think about what it means. There are three things that could happen in a situation like this:. 1 The students could learn that food was not allowed, and stop bringing food. Now I know college is supposed to be full of smart people, but they aren't THAT smart. Posted by Alex at 6:50 AM. Friday, October 27, 2006. Pictures of my life.

Monday, August 21, 2006. Some things are too important to drop. About 6 years ago, a company called Wizkids released the miniatures game Mageknight. This was toted as a revolution to miniatures, as they didn't need to be assembled or painted, were cheaper than metal based minis, and never had any charts or stat cards to keep track of. The boxes all said that "everything needed was in the clickable bases! Those big three should have been kept track of over the years. Posted by Alex at 12:14 PM. Let's run ...
