Book Notes: 2013 in Review. It must be time for my “annual” reading review. You can see my entire 2013 reading list here. First off, I set a reading goal for 2013 of 70 books…I read 87! Total Books Read: 87. I was going to say either. Mr Penumbra’s 24-Hour Bookstore. But at the last minute I decided to go with. The People in the Trees. I could not put this book down. I Can’t Hear What I’m Reading. I am a reader. I read a lot. Just look at my Goodreads list. To me, reading is looking at words. Interpreting them. Making up pictures and voices in your head. But as a librarian, I understand that reading and reading styles can differ from one person to another. Just a few short years ago I couldn’t imagine reading books on an electronic device.
