Chris Fell's Photo Blog: August 2014
http://chrisfellphotos.blogspot.com/2014_08_01_archive.html
Chris Fell's Photo Blog. A collection of photographic jottings. Sunday, 24 August 2014. Pre-season Rugby at CRUFC. I usually confine my rugby shots to the CRUFC website, but that is misbehaving this morning, so I am posting a sub-set from yesterday's two games against Old Albanians here until it is repaired. There were two games, the first of which Cambridge won (in black) and the second was won by the OAs. Some players featured in both games and a few sadly featured in A and E. Sunday, 17 August 2014.

Chris Fell's Photo Blog: The waiting is nearly over...
http://chrisfellphotos.blogspot.com/2015/08/the-waiting-is-nearly-over.html
Chris Fell's Photo Blog. A collection of photographic jottings. Sunday, 16 August 2015. The waiting is nearly over. Cambridge is no exception and they travelled to Hertford yesterday with the entire squad for a game of three halves with mass player shuffling going on at each break. Cambridge also seemed to be trying out all of their kit-combinations. Oh, and there's the World Cup starting in September too. 16 August 2015 at 19:36. Some great shots here Chris. Chris Fell's Photo Blog. A collection of photographic jottings. Tuesday, 26 May 2015. Half Term Outing with Arthur and Joshua - Shepreth Wildlife Park. If it's half term Tuesday, then it's time for an outing with Arthur (5) and Joshua (3.5). This week we decided to go to Shepreth Wildlife Park where I was playing with my Olympus OMD and 75-300 zoom lens. A quick visit to the play area and then lunch. Saturday, 23 May 2015. Station Road Garden for Mark Tester. Mark, any identification would be good! Betwe...

Chris Fell's Photo Blog. A collection of photographic jottings. Saturday, 28 March 2015. 2 days in North Norfolk - birds and a beach. Luckily I also had my infra red camera with me and you will find a couple of shots from that here - I was particularly surprised by the infra red shot of the seaweed on the groyne with (I'm told) a turnstone watching me. Sunday, 22 March 2015. The vultures gather…. Pre-flight checks from Ian with his usual demonstration of Wandering Hands! It was this long…. View my comple...

Chris Fell's Photo Blog. A collection of photographic jottings. Saturday, 18 October 2014. Joshua at Anglesey Abbey. The NT was providing children with small galvanised buckets yesterday for them to collect anything autumnal. Joshua loved it and was unwilling to be parted from his until we came to the statue of the huntsman with his dogs…. Season of mists and mellow fruitfulness. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Chris Fell's Photo Blog: Menorca - dawn to nightime over three days
http://chrisfellphotos.blogspot.com/2015/07/menorca-dawn-to-nightime-over-three-days.html
Chris Fell's Photo Blog. A collection of photographic jottings. Saturday, 4 July 2015. Menorca - dawn to nightime over three days. This last post covers the best of the last three days, starting with a dawn from the balcony of our friends' apartment and ending with a night shot over the harbour in Es Castell. These idiosyncratic windmills fascinated me: are they rigged with canvas sails onto the guys? A little like a child's windmill on a stick from my childhood? Return to Cavelleria by daylight.

To the victors, the spoils. Going down to the start. Going hard for the line. Shooting the railway bridge. First Division ladies going to the start. A red hippo coxing! Tuesday, 24 February 2015. Chris Fell's Photo Blog: April 2015
http://chrisfellphotos.blogspot.com/2015_04_01_archive.html
Chris Fell's Photo Blog. A collection of photographic jottings. Monday, 13 April 2015. A walk around the Greenwich Peninsula. I took an infra-red camera (all the monochrome shots) and a (more) normal DSLR. First a few from around Canary Wharf - the reflections were working well in high sunlight just prior to midday. After a brief ride on the DLR we arrived at the Cutty Sark. And thence to the Royal Naval College Chapel:. Everywhere there is evidence of the redevelopment of the Greenwich Peninsula.

Chris Fell's Photo Blog. A collection of photographic jottings. Monday, 28 July 2014. London skyline from Elephant and Castle. When working at my client's offices in The Elephant and Castle, I grabbed some views from the 6th floor roof garden which afforded an uninterrupted view of several of London's new architectural icons - The Cheese-Grater, The Gherkin, The Walkie-Talkie and of course the Shard. I was pleased to be able to see the dome of St Paul's as well. St Paul's to the Shard. After the main rac...

Chris Fell's Photo Blog: Aspects of harvest time
http://chrisfellphotos.blogspot.com/2015/08/aspects-of-harvest-time.html
Chris Fell's Photo Blog. A collection of photographic jottings. Sunday, 2 August 2015. Aspects of harvest time. I used to observe harvest from close quarters as a child - indeed I can still remember riding on the back of a Suffolk Punch pulling a reaper and binder when I was very small! However with the advent of a career I have missed out on the intermediate steps of the development of agricultural technology over the past 50 years! First the pea harvest about 10 days ago. The waiting is nearly over.
