WILD SALMON RUN - THEY ARE HOME! Salmon at Sulphur Creek Ranch. Story and Photographs by Matt Nesbit NOAA. While at the ranch you will be able to observe the fish as both adults and juveniles. Adults will be clearly visible in the shallower tailout sections, usually in pairs or small groups, digging circular nests or “redds. WILD SALMON RUN - THEY ARE HOME! Nestled in the Southwest corner of the Frank Church River of No Return Wilderness Area, Sulphur Creek Ranch represents the best of what Idaho has to offer. Over the years, the relatively easy accessibility to Sulphur Creek Ranch has turned it into a popular back country destination for pilots and hikers. The ranch is located 28nm East of Cascade, Idaho or can be reached by a 5-7 mile hike from the Middle Fork of the Salmon River Tail Head. Children ages of 5-12: $85.

Our well sought after 2 hour horse rides give you a feel for the wilderness from top of a horse. ValDean leads the rides and introduces you to a variety of terrain. We also offer more experienced rides to Morehead Lake and the Middle Fork of the Salmon River. Or you can just take off with ValDean as he clears trail. 2 hour trail ride $100 per person. Middle Fork Fishing all day $200 per person.
