Thursday, July 31, 2008. Latest Position 0400 UTC August 1, 2008: 7.54N, 173.31E. Slow night last night. The wind has died down some and the boat speed with it. Woke up to a giant squall on the radar that brought a good 20 knots of wind and buckets full of rain. The trouble is that the squall seems to steal the wind so what little wind I had gets sucked into the squall and leaves me wallowing (and wet)! Had a bit of a scare today. Tuesday, December 7, 2010. Turned the big 19 on the 29th of November - kind of one of those in between birthdays but it was nice to celebrate it with friends and family. Had a little party on Intrepid. But we all had to be very careful as my dad and I have just done a major refit on the boat, part of which is new teak and holly floors (pictures will come soon).
