Since we leave Memphis as soon as school bell rings for Christmas break we have to put up our tree early to make sure we have plenty of time to enjoy it and it's lovely evergreen scent. We were still getting unpacked and settled in the day after Thanksgiving so bright and early Saturday morning we headed to the lovely tree lot at the Home Depot and selected that most important of Christmas symbols (sarcasm). We'll be home for Christmas!
