Annie's Blog: #17 Delicious
http://ann-boyle.blogspot.com/2011/06/17-delicious.html
Saturday, 4 June 2011. Joined Delicious a couple of weeks ago but have not been able to find time to Blog! Really like Delicious especially the ability to find other very useful websites on Web 2.0, etc. Someone told me today that Delicious was going out of business but I did a bit of research and it seems that Delicious has now been taken over by the founders of You Tube and will continue. So, I think I will continue to experiment with it for a time! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). How 2 of Web 2.

Sunday, 5 June 2011. Re Web 2.0 tool Directory - Shelley and I discovered this site (I think through using Delicious? While we were preparing for our school ICT Conference where we gave a summary of this online course and discussed "What isWeb 2.0". Great site - makes you realise just how much is out there still to be explored! Now I just need more time to go back and develop some sort of expertise on those Web 2.0 tools that I wish to continue to use. 22 Audiobooks and #23 Downloadable Media. We are in ...

Web2 Reflections: #20 Podcasts
http://how2why2web2.blogspot.com/2010/09/20-podcasts.html
Welcome to my Web2 course blog that will reflect my journey to learn more about Web2 Tools. Thursday, September 23, 2010. I love using Audacity to make podcasts. Last year I captured a language specialist reading Gumbaynggirr language for our little primary school. Teachers now use the exported WAV files to support their teaching of the children’s own indigenous language, one of the few programs throughout our diocese. Giinagay everyone - hello from the Garaam kids. From St Mary's Bowraville. Subscribe t...

JoyBelle: May 2011

Tuesday, 31 May 2011. I use both Delicious and Diigo on a regular basis in my work. They are attached to my favourites bar for quick access. Whenever I am doing research for teachers and find a great site it only takes a moment to put the link in Delcious and Diigo. To me the best part of this process over the last couple of weeks has been the support from colleagues and the ability to laugh at my slowness in uptake of a new technoology. Monday, 16 May 2011. Wednesday, 1 June 2011. If you need a tutorial to help use Powerpoint or Twitter, look no further than YouTube. It can also be used for demonstration purposes in the classroom. A link to the relevant clip can be embedded into a your school's intranet site. I used examples of book trailers from YouTube for an English extension class. Wednesday, 27 April 2011. This simple button on the toolbar opens a whole new world to the user. I have used feeds in the past to keep me informed about changes in education both in Australia and the world. Saves time and energy and that is always a good thing. I finally took the plunge and set up a facebook page. Within minutes of it being set up I had a host of people who wanted to be my friend! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). How 2 of web 2.0. Wednesday, 1 June 2011. Amazon in its last month figures saw e-books outsell print for the first time. There are positives and negatives in relation to e-books. Once settled on a device easy to purchase and download. Ability to spellcheck, adjust size of print, make notes. Cost of e-book in comparison with print version. Variety of resources available - very little Australian young adult fiction available. Http:/ www1.teachertube.com/viewVideo.php? Video id=25586&title=Using Library Databases. Ethereal t...
