Looking to the Shepherd. Friday, May 6, 2011. Tomorrow, marks the 33rd anniversary of the death of our first-born son, Christopher James. He was a beautiful boy - 4lb 13 ounces of cuteness. When our son, Matthew was born, I was amazed at how much he resembled his brother, Christopher. For the most part, I think that his death made me a much better person in many ways:. With two upcoming long trips, and a girl who doesn't travel well, we needed something. I printed a bunch of different pictures, laminated them and put magnets on the back. Friday, July 4, 2008. Family Vacation: The Surf. While on vacation last week (has it been a week? Sniff Sniff.), my two oldest girls had the amazing opportunity to attend Hakilua Sur. A ministry of my parent's church ( Nags Head Church. Both girls were able to spend three solid hours with one on one instruction and had the best time. The part came where all the athletes were all walking into the 'Bird's Nest' and mugging for the cameras. Jessica sat and stared as they all gave the obligatory peace sign and smiled.
