Lauren and Rusty's Adventures in the Natural State: Taking Over
http://briansinbritain.blogspot.com/2011/04/taking-over.html
Lauren and Rusty's Adventures in the Natural State. Sunday, April 10, 2011. We are having a baby. Not only is her STUFF taking over, but her little body is decidedly taking over mine! I am 28 weeks pregnant (on Tuesday) and my little girl is moving all the time! Her little kicks and punches have turned into full body waves, and I can feel her on both sides of my belly. Baby B's Beautiful Bedding. You are having a BABY! I cant wait to see all her stuff in person. =). You are doing a great job, mama!

Lauren and Rusty's Adventures in the Natural State: July 2011
http://briansinbritain.blogspot.com/2011_07_01_archive.html
Lauren and Rusty's Adventures in the Natural State. Wednesday, July 6, 2011. A friend shared this with me this week, and it seems appropriate as we prepare for bed, now that our sweet baby's due date has come and almost gone. Dear Baby, here beneath my heart,. I thought that you might come today;. The timing just seemed right. But the stars are out. And the moon is high. And sheepishly I wonder why. I try to arrange the plans of God. For now I know. You will not come. Until the One who holds eternity.

Lauren and Rusty's Adventures in the Natural State: A Special Weekend
http://briansinbritain.blogspot.com/2011/04/special-weekend.html
Lauren and Rusty's Adventures in the Natural State. Monday, April 4, 2011. This weekend Rusty and I made a super quick trip home for our first baby shower. It was hard to squeeze everything that we love to do in Clovis into the 36 hours that we spent there (sandwiched between 10 hour drives), but it was SO worth the trip. We got in a bit of quality family time, a LOT of delicious Mexican food, and an amazingly lovely baby shower. Oh friend, everything is LOVELY! You, most of all. =).

The Best Life: Grand Turk
http://janabest.blogspot.com/2011/11/grand-turk.html
Monday was our first port stop, Grand Turk in Turks and Caicos Islands. We arrived at port around 7:30 am and I was up early excited to watch us approach land. I went to the gym where I knew I would have a nice view from the front of the ship. Then I made it back to the room to watch the docking process from our balcony. I was amazed to see how smooth and quietly we "landed.". It is amazing how giant the cruise ships are.and ours was a "small one". Our ship in the background. Was it uncomfortably humid?

A few weeks ago Josh came home from work and casually handed me a copy of the Pacific Coast Business Times, a weekly business journal serving Ventura. Santa Barbara and San Luis Obispo. Anniversary of the award. Many of the award's. Alumni have gone on to accomplish great success (or at least notoriety). One such alum is California's Lt. Governor Abel Maldonado. And. Josh was chosen as one of this year's "40-under-40" award winners! Partner). I quickly realized this was a MUCH bigger deal than Josh h...

Lauren and Rusty's Adventures in the Natural State. Wednesday, September 22, 2010. A Study in Balance. L O N G post ahead.feel free to skip it entirely or to grab a snack before you dive in. You may have noticed a sparseness in my posting since school began. The reason is that the fullness of our lives makes it hard to keep up, much less take a step back and process all that is happening. I am truly loving our work at the church. Our teens are great, our church family is loving and supportive, and I ...

Because secret recipes stink. Friday, July 22, 2011. Here's a quick and easy appetizer for your weekend. This recipe is originally from Rhonda Roth (via the River Community Church cookbook), but Les at It's a Wonderful Life. Introduced me to the deliciousness. I've made it twice this week alone. 1 Make the recipe as written. Don't leave out things you don't like. For example, I don't like olives and neither does Phil, but we LOVE this dip and it would not taste the same without them. 1 c sour cream.
