Tennyson Family Blog: April 2012
http://lizandtoby.blogspot.com/2012_04_01_archive.html
Living and Learning as I Go. Friday, April 6, 2012. First published in 2008. In my search for happiness and and balance in my current situation, I have been repeatedly brought back to the thought of what drives me? What makes me try harder or sometimes what is lost when I quit trying? Is there a source of truth that when you rely on it you will be compelled to move forward and in ignorance move back? This Easter weekend, I ask you to look at what you LOVE and what drives you to be better? I ask that you ...

Living and Learning as I Go. Tuesday, June 9, 2009. I got the kids ready to go and house was clean when we found out that he might be coming early? It had been 7 months since we had hugged and I definitly longed for him to hold my hand. Again, we waited outside for about 15 minutes to see the plane. It was AMAZING. I remember just seeing this plane and knowing that he was HOME. I love you honey. Monday, June 1, 2009. Last note before I start on my other posts: It is 95 degrees here and I LOVE IT! Toby ha...

Living and Learning as I Go. Wednesday, August 26, 2009. When a new couple gets to the island and gets assigned to the unit we were originally assigned to, they have a retreat you get to go to when you first get to the island. A couple days after we got into our house in Chibana, we were offered the opportunity to go. What they told us: Free food for us and our family, beach side rooms for free, time away for Toby and I and they provide the childcare. I was SOLD! Um yeah to work on your marriage? We were...

Living and Learning as I Go. Sunday, February 20, 2011. This last week was filled with another bunch of successes. I was privileged. To go to both Courtney and Cyrus' school for the awards ceremonies. They are both doing so great this year and I hope that showing them how excited and proud I am of them, will help them stay motivated. The kids are finally drinking my green smoothies and Cyrus reminds me so much of Ryan ( my brother) it is hilarious. Six pack is his goal this year. :). We have been working...

Living and Learning as I Go. Tuesday, March 30, 2010. So Cera thinks for some reason shoe laces are not supposed to stay in shoes. I have to hide my tennis shoes or she takes the laces out. Weird I know. Everytime she takes her shoes off, she spends ten minutes taking the laces out. Today Toby left his shoes out. She took the laces out, but stepped it up by somehow getting the plastic off the ends of the laces, making them pretty much unusable. She seemed to care that I showed up and did something for he...

Green spiders in the garden. A collection of thoughts and ramblings. All the small things. April 28, 2015 by mrsabbott. However, that doesn’t change the fact that we are a little overwhelmed and stressed right now. Not the first time, probably won’t be the last. What were we going to do, kill the babies?
