Fourth graders from Chemung Elementary School in Waverly, NY and Center Street and Big Flats Schools in Horseheads created miniature books in which they imagined themselves as water droplets in the water cycle. Students at Diven Elementary School were treated to a program presented by Toni Gardner and Anne Hughes from the Cornell Cooperative Extension. Toni and Anne talked to children about the water cycle, water usage and water conservation.
