Recycled Bicycles, BikeShed

Recycled bicycles are those that have been donated to the BikeShed which we sell to pay for the tools and equipment at the shed. They are accepted in any condition, so when someone wants a broken or incomplete bike we see that as an opportunity to teach them how to fix a bike. When buying a recycled bike:. You do all the work. We will guide you, but the aim is to teach you how to fix your bike. We supply all tools needed. (Do NOT bring your own tools - see the note on the home page for why).

Where are we located. We are near the southern entrance to CERES, just off the Merri Creek bike path. Getting to CERES by bike. The Merri Creek bike path runs along the edge of CERES. How do I purchase a bike? After you have fixed one of our recycled bikes, you may purchase it. See the recycled bikes page for more details on how this works. Can I fix my own bike? Yes Simply come down to the shed during our opening hours and become a member. You can then repair your own bike using our tools. We have volunteer mechanics available if you need help or advice.
