Boise's Treasured Victorian Home. Read the story behind this historic house. Welcome to The Bishops' House. The Bishops' House is a 3-story building built in 1889 for the Episcopal Diocese of Idaho, which was remodeled with an expansion in 1899. The house remained the residence of the Episcopal Bishop of Idaho for many years. So much of what the house is today, and where it stands, would not have been possible without grants, fundraisers, donations and volunteer work from our generous community.

Friday, February 6, 2009. I am soooo happy it is FRIDAY! Apparently Penny Lane was unable to make it to her potty pad in the bathroom and she pooped all over the floor. The Hershey squirts is what Chad calls it. Yes, we are gross! The queen just wasn't cutting it anymore. I like lots of room and Penny Lane takes up all of the middle. We played a game and everyone was ready for bed. The next morning we cleaned up and headed back to reality. I am ready for a week long vacation. I NEED IT! Just 2 More Days!

Saturday, July 18, 2009. Journey from the General Convention into the church. For the House of Bishops the General Convention ended about 4:00PM on Friday. It is the first time I remember having completed all the business and work of the Convention before the absolute last minute required to adjourn. That was a shock but a good thing. My home means a lot to me. I've designed it to suit my tastes and ideas. It's nice to have somewhere to get away from the stresses of the working day and just take a breather. But as well as being an oasis of peace, my home is also a place for friendly get-togethers we often have family celebrations or games evenings with close friends here.
