Wednesday, October 19, 2011. Our weekend. This weekend was pretty nice and relaxing. Time flies when you only have 2 days off and back to work for 5 days! Friday I had a doctors appointment. Yay for 20 weeks! It was at Desert Prenatal Associates. And we are having a boy! We found that out a few weeks ago. After the doctors we took Deegan to the pumpkin patch by the house. Saturday, March 26, 2011. Today we got our Bountiful Baskets. And it was one of the best ones in a long time! I think it is my favorite because it had sweet potatoes! I don't buy bread from the grocery store anymore! The bread cost $10 for 5 loaves, so $2 a loaf! Good bread at the store cost anywhere from $3.00-4.50 a loaf. Tuesday, November 11, 2008. Our family is complete and I feel complete. I love saying "we have 2 girls". It just never felt right to say "we have 1 daughter"-that just sounded so empty, with the loss of Lauren. But, 2 girls, it sounds and feels right. We are adjusting. Emily is doing really really good. Wednesday, June 2, 2010. My girls loved going to Baby Animal Days! Ava's favorite were the baby bears. They were so cute! Lyla seemed to just like everything! She wasn't scared to touch anything she could get her hands on. The poor animals were probably scared of my kids. Ava was holding one of the baby ducks and got a little scared and decided to throw it a few feet. :) We had a fun day! Maddie's First Field Trip. Maddie and I got to go to the Henrietta Creek Apple Orchard last week. We had a great time. Maddie got to ride on the bus and she was so excited until she actually rode on the bus! She begged me to not make her ride back to school on the bus. She loved seeing the little chicks!

Friday, November 20, 2009. We spent the last 5 months being caretakers for a wonderfully warm and cozy house, but then the owner had to go and return! We are living large! We also have great neighbors our age. The woman is a painter and the man makes homemade beer. We live right on the coast of the river now, the one in the pictures, so in the summer the kids can go swimming in turquoise, crystal clear water. I can not wait for grandparent hugs for the kids…there is nothing better! As always, keep writin...

Since both Sara and Sunnie refuse to use the bathroom out in the woods, we bought a 5th wheel trailer so we could go camping one weekend.
