Like I said this disease is extremely rare. There are only 4 confirmed cases in the state of Kentucky and only effects 1 out of every 40,000 births. How could this be happening? How could this even happen to begin with? They gave us a list of symptoms to look for in the unlikely event of a newborn metabolic crisis and sent us on our merry way.
