The Wongs Adoption Journey: Final post!
http://thewongsjourney.blogspot.com/2009/08/final-post.html
Referral picture Isabella aged 7 months. Updated picture June 2008. Isabella at 12 months. August 2009, Isabella 26 months! We started the blog to allow friends and family to follow the later part of our adoption journey. The blog was started in November as we anticipated our referral in early 2008! I find it so hard to describe Isabella as she is so pretty, loving, intelligent, and funny. We truly have been blessed to have Isabella in our lives. Isabella is now a very happy, bright, loving 2 year old!

The Wongs Adoption Journey: July 2009
http://thewongsjourney.blogspot.com/2009_07_01_archive.html
I haven't posted any pictures of Isabella for a while. Here are a few taken when I took my MIL and Isabella to the London aquarium. We first took her there with her cousin last year shortly after we got back from China but she was too young to really appreciate it. This year she loved it especially the sharks! We then met Ba Ba who works very near the Aquarium and we all went for a really yummy lunch at Yo Sushi! Well as you know we accepted an offer on our house before it was marketed! And she likes it!

The Wongs Adoption Journey: December 2008
http://thewongsjourney.blogspot.com/2008_12_01_archive.html
My First Christmas at Home. Isabella was a bit overwhelmed by Christmas! We bought her a tricycle and dolls pram, and a few toys! Her little face just lit up when she saw the bike by the Christmas tree, it was priceless. She then sat on the bike why we helped her open her other presents. She wasn't sure about opening them and ripping the paper and kept looking at me to see if I would tell her off! She just didn't want to let go of anything! So we haven't done any running, but in the new year its time to ...

The Wongs Adoption Journey: Getting ready to sell?
http://thewongsjourney.blogspot.com/2009/07/getting-ready-to-sell.html
Getting ready to sell? Last week we had an estate agents come around to value our home. We haven't done the home owners pack yet so cant legally market our house, so its not officially for sale. But the estate agents sent two people to view the property last week. Lots of cleaning and turning our house into a 'show home'! We are happy to rent for a few months as it then puts us in a stronger position as house cash buyers. We are nearly done with the DIY! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). CJ et al- Cath.

The Wongs Adoption Journey: Disney and catch up post!
http://thewongsjourney.blogspot.com/2009/07/disney-and-catch-up-post.html
Disney and catch up post! We had a fantastic few days away in France enjoying the beautiful European hot weather spell that we had. We travelled to Euro Disney on the Tuesday arriving mid day. Isabella is such a good traveller the train journey for her was a breeze and she was so well behaved. I had stocked up on crayons, colouring books and stickers in anticipation! For the first two nights we stayed in the Euro Disney resort. Isabella had her own bed in our room and loved it! And he simply just gave us...

The Wongs Adoption Journey: May 2009
http://thewongsjourney.blogspot.com/2009_05_01_archive.html
My first proper haircut! We had some free time today before we met some friends for Dim Sum in China town so we popped into a Chinese hairdressers where Isabella had her first proper haircut! Ma Ma has been trimming the fringe, but the back has got quite long and was wispy so we thought we would get it cut into a proper bob, and then let it grow and bit more. The organic biscuits were not to bribe her! Its a nice cut apart from the fringe is so short and is a bit pudding basin style! That we bought our f...

The Wongs Adoption Journey: Crazy Week
http://thewongsjourney.blogspot.com/2009/07/crazy-week.html
Life has been a bit hectic and crazy in the Wong household. Where do I start? As my previous posts we planned to put our house on the market once Isabella was home and settled. Then the recession hit, not a good time to sell! Once this was sorted we could then do the DIY jobs and re-decorating we needed to do, which were outstanding after our loft conversion last year! So that's whey we were frantically busy getting our home ready for the market. We need to find a new place and move out by October/Novemb...

The Wongs Adoption Journey: October 2008
http://thewongsjourney.blogspot.com/2008_10_01_archive.html
Isabella's hair has grown so much in the last 3 months. It now stick up everywhere in the mornings until I spray conditioner on it and brush it! So one of her names is Ms Bed Head for obvious reasons. She is so going to hate me when she is a teenager! Happy Halloween, although Isabella was more impressed with the candle than Ma Ma's attempts at carving the pumpkin this year! Last weeks catch up! Its been tough as I only have an hour per day when we are home! So it really is slow progress. Yes she fell as...
