Saturday, July 18, 2009. To discover how Columbus is going green, we started out the day sampling the ColumBUS Transit system. Our first driver of the day, Will, was amazing! He was more than happy to show us all that the city bus system has to offer. Tuesday, July 7, 2009. Columbus Regional Hospital Is Going Green! Columbus Regional Hospital, like many other local businesses, is doing its part to preserve and protect the environment. The Fabulous Four demonstrate this by displaying the new water saving toilets located in the laboratory. The flushing instructions clearly state to pull the handle up for liquid waste and to push the handle down for solid waste. The up or down motion triggers a different amount of water flow depending on the choice.

This complex will feature 45 units and will be built to LEED standards. This will be a first for Columbus and the largest LEED project of this type in Indiana! It may be a close call between our collection and another Amazing Race team- we had a full truckload. Of newspaper that we dropped of at Harrison college on Saturday, July 19th.
