http://brisbanebaker.blogspot.com/2010_03_01_archive.html
Tuesday, March 30, 2010. Cookies and Cream Frosting on top of Martha's Devil's Food Cupcakes. You may have tasted the honey, but I have the hive. Honest to god love that saying. It applies to many aspects in my life. I could go on for ages explaining, but I bet you the smarty pants reader has figured it out already ;). Here is one recipe I've always wanted to make but never knew what the exact ingredients were. Devils Food Cupcakes with Cookies and Cream Frosting. Again, Martha's Devils Food Cupcakes.

Brisbane Baker: Princess Cake- 5th Birthday Cake
http://brisbanebaker.blogspot.com/2010/05/princess-cake-5th-birthday-cake.html
Sunday, May 2, 2010. Princess Cake- 5th Birthday Cake. One of my friend's little daughter's had just turned 5 and I was asked to help with making a cake for her party this afternoon. She is really into princesses so Tish and I created this baby. Took a little while and I sacrificed my perfectly healthy back as we spaced the making process throughout the day, but it turned out beautifully. I know there are a few imperfections from icing this in a poorly lit room, but are you all proud? PS I am now also ta...

Thursday, May 27, 2010. Panyiri- Brisbane Greek Festival. I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'M SORRY! I've been ignoring you all again! But I have caught up on your posts now :). Any-who here are a few snaps I took at the festival. Enjoy. LOL at the Mr. Burns. Why would you still hang that sign? Is this sideshow allowed to use the Simpsons? If so why is Krusty spelled with a 'C'? I couldn't finish the second baklava, therefore it RUINED my hand bag! She's coming around with the camera! Inner child comes out. This i...

Brisbane Baker: January 2010
http://brisbanebaker.blogspot.com/2010_01_01_archive.html
Friday, January 29, 2010. As Australia Day has just gone by, I wanted to kick off my blog with something that represents our country -. Just being a little bit patriotic here. So I thought, what symbolises our country more than ANZAC bikkies? Just a little bit of a history lesson here:. A body of women did come up with an answer, Soldiers Biscuits - a Scottish recipe using rolled oats. These biscuits would remain edible for up to 2 months due to the lack of egg as a binding agent. 1 cup rolled oats.

Brisbane Baker: Dessert Pizza
http://brisbanebaker.blogspot.com/2010/05/dessert-pizza.html
Saturday, May 22, 2010. Today I was a bit uninspired for dinner, as I have been for the past 3 weeks. I think I have cook's block because of the new, draining job I've just started. Instead of dreaming of baking goodies, I've been dreaming of working! Not very fun at all. Anywho, tonight Mr. BB and I were to eat some lame-assed steakettes. I wasn't impressed at all, he jumps at the chance to eat mince but I really despise it. Solution? 1 sachet of dried yeast. Pinch of castor sugar. Preheat oven to 190c.

handmade&homemade: BBQ Party Mix
http://handmadeandhomemade.blogspot.com/2010/07/bbq-party-mix.html
The Things I Like to Craft and Cook. Friday, July 23, 2010. Here's a new recipe I tried for the 4th of July. Beware! It is addictive. It has all the crunchy goodness of a traditional Chex Mix, coupled with a mild hint of BBQ tastiness. Another winner from Cook's Country. 1 Heat oven to 250 degrees. Combine 5 cups Corn Chex cereal. 2 cups corn chips. 1 cup melba toast. 1 cup pretzel sticks. And 1 (6 oz) can smokehouse almonds. In a large bowl. Whisk 6 tablespoons. 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano. Tuscan Garlic...

http://handmadeandhomemade.blogspot.com/2011/06/summer-birthday.html
The Things I Like to Craft and Cook. Sunday, June 26, 2011. My sweet mama turned 86 today! Five of my six brothers and sisters and I met up at her house to help her celebrate. We decided to have an Italian-style feast featuring Bruschetta and Crostini, Baked Manicotti, Sea Salt and Rosemary Focaccia, and Garlic Bread. My sister baked her most delicious 14-Carrot Cake. I'm still stuffed. Here's my lovely mom at age 16:. And here she is today:. 1 Pre-heat the oven to 450-degrees. 1 clove minced garlic.

John, Jenny, and our growing family: May 2015
http://jasjohnandjenny.blogspot.com/2015_05_01_archive.html
John, Jenny, and our growing family. Thursday, May 21, 2015. Sweet Baby Lucy is no longer a baby! Last Sunday we celebrated with John's parents, my parents and the Moos family, as well as lots of Holton friends. Hanna and Grant even joined in via Facetime when we sang happy birthday! It was my first time making modeling chocolate for the cake. I was fairly happy with the outcome and it tasted much better than the fondant I usually make. Such as smarty pants!
