http://mrsolsen.blogspot.com/2015_05_01_archive.html
Thursday, May 28, 2015. Emma went to a birthday party and got a few ring pops in the party bag. There were only 3, so Luke didn't get one. But don't worry, the other kids shared. :). Posted by Mrs. Olsen. Wednesday, May 27, 2015. Me: I think we need to start a weekly lunch schedule. I don't like that! That prettt much summarizes Bart's relationship with food right now. Posted by Mrs. Olsen. Monday, May 25, 2015. This was such nice family time together that was easy and low-key. Aaaahhh. She had several c...

http://mrsolsen.blogspot.com/2015/06/first-2015-summer-swim-meet.html
Wednesday, June 03, 2015. First 2015 Summer Swim Meet. The theme of the first meet was superheros. It's hard to tell, but each of the girls have on a superhero cape. Izzy did swim team this summer and that has been a lot of fun for everyone. It was BLAZING hot for the meet. I was ready to get this thing going! Here's Rebecca, lining up for her first race. Luke and me, trying to kill some time in between events. Rebecca swam backstroke for the medley relay. She's the second from the right.

Make Something Beautiful: November 2010
http://sarahrosie.blogspot.com/2010_11_01_archive.html
Tuesday, November 2, 2010. Ruthie is Eight Months Old. Phoebe kindly reminded me the other day that Ruthie is “almost one” and that she (Phoebe) is “almost four”. While we still have four months until we hit either of those milestones. I suppose we’re closer than halfway there, which is pretty much mind boggling to me. I’m still getting over the fact that Ruthie is no longer a newborn. At eight months old, Ruthie is. Staying awake longer when we are out and about, although she still sacks out pretty quic...

Make Something Beautiful: February 2011
http://sarahrosie.blogspot.com/2011_02_01_archive.html
Wednesday, February 23, 2011. Well, I was delighted to discover a few weeks ago that snow had arrived! Unfortunately, that was after one of Ruthie's worst nights on record (at the onset of miserable cold #3), and I felt like I needed to take her in to the pediatrician to rule out an ear infection. I was sleep deprived and really. Not feeling like being a fun mommy. so honestly, we didn't even go out to play. And we were all delighted with the result! Posted by Sarah Rose. Mrs. Olsen: Bennett Nurseries Field Trip
http://mrsolsen.blogspot.com/2015/06/bennett-nurseries-field-trip.html
Friday, June 05, 2015. Bennett Nurseries Field Trip. A friend of ours set up a field trip to Bennett Nurseries. It was technically during summer break, but I've been planning on continuing school a little bit during the summer. Plus, who can complain about a field trip during the summer? I'd never been there before, but I'd heard about it. Still, I wasn't prepared for how cool it would be! Luke was in train heaven. The other kids enjoyed it too, of course. The kids loved the giant swing. :). It wasn't lo...

Mrs. Olsen: June 2015
http://mrsolsen.blogspot.com/2015_06_01_archive.html
Tuesday, June 30, 2015. Our neighborhood library has done an awesome job this summer of having fun reading times and activities all summer long. This day for story time, Wonder Woman came and read. For the craft, the kids made power cuffs, just like Wonder Woman. Then they all got to take their pictures with her. Rebecca (Notice the mismatched shoes. Very on trend in our house right now.). Posted by Mrs. Olsen. Monday, June 29, 2015. That's how they wanted to spend their money. :). Saturday, June 27, 2015.

Mrs. Olsen: September 2014
http://mrsolsen.blogspot.com/2014_09_01_archive.html
Tuesday, September 30, 2014. Tonight Bart wanted a bedtime story. So I decided to tell the story of Adam and Eve. When I was describing the Garden of Eden, how Jesus created everything: birds, tigers, trees, flowers, etc., the following conversation ensued:. Me: Yes, there were orange things. Bart: Orange is my favorite! Me: Well, no, I guess Spiderman wasn't born yet. Posted by Mrs. Olsen. Posted by Mrs. Olsen. Sunday, September 28, 2014. We had a total of 8 kids (They brought their neice, Maisy, too...

Make Something Beautiful: April 2011
http://sarahrosie.blogspot.com/2011_04_01_archive.html
Thursday, April 14, 2011. Nora is our resident comedienne. I really believe she seeks to do and say things that will make us laugh. And she's pretty good at it! I am not naturally funny, and it's pretty difficult to make me laugh - but Nora succeeds often. She does and says some pretty ridiculous things. Back around Christmastime, we watched Frosty the Snowman. She'll say, " Oh, Mommy! Your hair is so pretty! And I pretty much want to eat her when she says that. Posted by Sarah Rose. Still sleeping reall...

Friday, June 17, 2011. Around our house, Miss PattyCake. Is the supreme celebrity. My dear friend Carolynn introduced us to her at some point in the last couple of years, and we are in love. All of us. This sweet lady and her DVDs have helped me get many a meal finished or laundry load put away. The girls adore her and are spellbound pretty much any time she's on. After lunch, she fished hers out of her laundry basket and brought it to me, signing please. It was dirty. I said no. I tossed it ...Miss Patt...

Make Something Beautiful: A Little Getaway
http://sarahrosie.blogspot.com/2011/07/little-getaway.html
Monday, July 11, 2011. The trip did not disappoint. We heard our first, "When will we get there? On this trip, and the trip up was particularly fussy for our little Roo, but from the moment we got into the car, I had this miraculous, unexplained peace. Several days later, I'm still just struck by how wonderful this little trip was. I've had fresh eyes for my home and my family this week, and I've enjoyed more moments of rest. God is so good. Posted by Sarah Rose. SO happy for you and yours!
