Sunday, November 30, 2014. So we have been anxiously awaiting this weekend since June! As "trip prep", I decided to watch the movie with Carley yesterday, because she had never seen it before. About 20 minutes into it though, she decided it was too scary and that she didn't want to watch it.which then translated into her not wanting to ride on a train at all because she thought all trains were going to be scary. NOT what I had intended or expected! Then it was "All Aboard! For our first ever train trip.

Friday, August 29, 2014. As the summer is winding down and we are staring preschool in the face yet again (Carley starts next Wednesday! A few things have dawned on me:. Summer Vacation Isn't As Much Fun When You Are An Adult. The sprinkler is a blast.but I'm the one who has to attach it to the hose, lather the child up with sunscreen and get swimming gear on, find beach towels, sit in the heat while she plays, and then dry/strip/redress the child. And then the laundry. Short Attention Spans Are Killer.

Brad and I have always said that Carley had to make the decision to get her own ears pierced AND she had to be able to take care of them herself. Thursday, August 13, 2015. It has been a busy summer, and things are winding down as we stare the start of another school year in the face. Carley is gearing up to be a big Pre-K kid and couldn't be more excited about this new title. Things are slightly. Different this fall though, as she isn't the only one returning to the classroom. That's right.I'm gearing up to go back to preschool as well! I was offered a job teaching at Carley's school in the 4 year old room and I couldn't refuse!
