Michelob Ultra El Paso Marathon gets new course! September 29, 2015. From upscale new developments in the far east sections to the urban Victorian homes on Montana Avenue that date to the 19th century. The new course came to be out of a necessity - due to roadwork on Interstate 10 in West El Paso and security concerns at Fort Bliss, the marathon needed a new home. Then, they will loop around on residential streets and do a quick turnaround to Edgemere, and begin heading west toward the city's center.

Expo and Packet Pick. February 18, 2017. 8:00 am to 6:30 pm. The 2017 Michelob Ultra El Paso Marathon Expo will take place Saturday, February 18, 2017 at the El Paso Convention and Performing Arts Center. The race itself is only half the fun. With over 30 exhibitors and vendors, the Expo is the place to find great products and information on all things marathon! The Expo is also the site for all runners to pick-up their Race Number, Timing Chip, T-shirt and goodie bag.

February 19, 2017. Start Time: 7:15 am. The 5K Run and Walk is an affordable event for the entire family. This downtown El Paso event features a scenic route around some of El Paso’s more historic buildings and runs by the historic Magoffin home, before heading back to the finish line. The 5k Run and Walk will utilize a computerized Chip timing system, which records each runner’s actual running time to the second. If you do not wear your computer chip you will not be timed. What is the route? The Marathon will start at the east El Paso campus of the The Hospitals of Providence, 3280 Joe Battle. Buses will transport all marathon runners to start line and the last bus will leave the finish line area promptly at 5:30 am. Where is El Paso? El Paso, Texas is located where Texas, New Mexico and Mexico meet. El Paso elevation is 3,800 feet (1140 m) above sea level with the highest peak being the majestic Franklin Mountains with an elevation of 7,192 feet. Who is coming to race?
