My Journey to a Lighter Life: June 2007
http://amanda-journeytoalighterme.blogspot.com/2007_06_01_archive.html
My Journey to a Lighter Life. Thursday, 28 June 2007. 27th June 2007 Day 35, Part 2 – 5th Weigh-In. Just a quick update on how the class went last night. Our normal counsellor wasn’t there so we had a locum, who was also doing the Lighter Life diet and had just become a locum. She was lovely and we didn’t really learn much in the class this week, but the group seemed to bond well. Wednesday, 27 June 2007. 27th June 2007 Day 35. Only 65 days to go now, that sounds sooo much better than 100! Last night I w...
Guinea's Blog: August 2007
http://guineasblog.blogspot.com/2007_08_01_archive.html
Friday, 31 August 2007. Day One Hundred and Fifteen. It's the end of the week, and what a week it's been. Monday's long drive from Scotland wasn't much fun, but since then it's got better and better. The diet was good this week too. Lots of water has been drunk and I've been on the bike every day except thursday. It will be interesting to see how this is reflected in next week's loss. So far, the more active I am the less I lose. I've no idea why, but I'm hoping this week bucks the trend. I had a great c...

Sunday, 23 September 2007. Day One Hundred and Thirty Eight. First thing this morning I went to B Q to pick up a file. This was the last tool I needed before attacking my kayak. I decided to install my fish finder today. I connected up the battery and lo and behold it worked straight away. Of course I will not know if the sonar works until I get it on the water, but the map showed me where I was, so the GPS works. Here's the shot from sitting in the kayak. Day One Hundred and Thirty Seven. I also have no...

Thursday, 12 April 2007. Ladies - thank you SO much for your words of encouragement. The main reason I've not been posting is because they've barred all the blogging sites at work and my broadband at home has been playing up! Anyway.I gained one pound in my off days but I'm back on the programme now and trying to stay good as well as sane. I hope you're all doing well fellow LLers. Sunday, 1 April 2007. Day 12 - there's no hope for me. What a crap weekend I've had! Not a great day for me :-(. I'm a 34 ye...

My Journey to a Lighter Life. Thursday, 25 October 2007. 25th October 2007 - Part 2. I can't believe I forgot to say, I'm now no longer morbidly obese or obese, I am overweight. How fab is that. Anyway, if I don't get on here tomorrow, hope you all have a good weekend. I love your new ticker! Very festive. And congratulations on the BMI. It is a strange sensation to celebrate being overweight - but a great moment. 26 October 2007 at 19:15. You are doing SOOOO well! 29 October 2007 at 12:05. Lighter Life ...

My Journey to a Lighter Life: November 2007

My Journey to a Lighter Life. Wednesday, 28 November 2007. 28th November 2007 – Day 189 – 25th Weigh-In. Well, I went back to LL class last night for my weigh-in after my binge over the last week and I actually lost weight. I was amazed and again had to get back onto the scales to make sure I wasn’t seeing things. I feel much more in control of the diet now and I noticed yesterday that I wasn’t craving food again, I’m happy having my packs. It really shows how I cope with emotional/ stres...Anyway, tomor...

My Journey to a Lighter Life. Monday, 22 October 2007. 22nd October 2007 – Day 152. Well, had my first full week at my new job, which has gone really well. There was a temp here to show me the ropes for most of the week, and I seem to pick things up very quickly. I am here on my own now and all is well. The guys here seem really lovely (yes, I work in a company full of blokes! So, I’m now starting my second week……. I did do a bit of nibbling this weekend, but hopefully not as bad as last weekend.
