Libya has been fighting a civil war for a few weeks now and its been interesting how that whole situation is going. Moammar Gaddafi is trying to maintain complete control over Libya, not an easy task for an old guy. He is losing ground fast, including his birth place of, Sirte ( CNN. These two used to walk hand-in-hand with each other, especially from the founding of Greek organizations. There are those of us who are trying to remedy this tare between the two, while at the same time there are those who would prefer that they remain separated. Every year, Dr. Narro’s Communication 621 class organizes and coordinates Earth Day at Southeastern, which is traditionally held in the student union on National Earth Day, April 22. This year our team faced some pretty serious challenges, but we overcame them with style, gusto and success. We moved the day to April 12 and had the full event anyways! Enjoy, and Happy Earth Day!
