Monday, December 29, 2014. I swear to you I'm not always completely off my game during the holidays, but for some reason this year has thrown me for a loop. The Sunday before Christmas my little guy woke up with a fever of 103.8. SCARY! My other two got variations of this disease while the little guy worked to fight it off and on Christmas Eve I, too, came down with it and spent most of the day being a zombie and fighting a fever, while loosing my voice and barely interacting with anyone christmas day.

Tuesday, June 30, 2015. Paddle Boarding Payson Lake, UT. I'm surprised by just how many places there are in our little dessert to paddle board on. And I keep hearing about more. My brother and I traveled down to Payson Lake, because it's a spot that has a lot of memories for both of us. The lake mostly for him, but Payson canyon was where we grew up "driving through the leaves" in the fall with Grandma, Mom, and Aunt Teresa. It's very pretty and also very green right now! I love my board so freaking much!

Saturday, June 6, 2015. Cascade Springs, UT. Last weekend we found ourselves at Cascade Springs. It's so beautiful up there! It was such a perfect little hike for my little guy, although we were unhappy to find out that the center portion of the trails that connects the upper and lower springs was closed for re-construction. Dang it! On our way up we spotted a dear:. We also learned, despite being a natural mountain spring, don't drink the water, it'll make you crazy! Crazy sick that is).

I still want to go back and catch-up on some travel and event posts, but I thought I would share my sweet fun from today. Mom invited the girls over today to play cake decorators with her. Growing up she always made us the most amazing birthday cakes. We had Mom, Alicia, Alyse, Kiaya, Aryn, Sophia and me all playing with the rainbow colored frosting. It was lots of fun and tasted yummy too!
