I know I should probably start the 2015 year off with something truly healthy for mind body and spirit but then I made this. And I had to share it. Just a slice never really hurt anyone anyway.surely. 100g flour, sifted. 1 tbsp ground cardomom. 1 tsp baking powder, sifted. 100ml cream plus a dash. 2 tbsp cocoa powder. 1-2 generous pinches of icing sugar. 189; pomegranate, hulled. 189;- 1 punnet (250g) raspberries.

Monday, April 27, 2015. Margherita pizza would be on my list of five foods to take to a desert island. When done well with the appropriate thin crust, beautiful quality mozzarella and a sprinkling of freshly torn basil, everything seems right with the world. This is a pizza pocket version of the margherita – an ode to the good old days of a few coins taped to a brown paper bag for the pizza pop tart at tuckshop. 2 tsp (7g sachet) active dried yeast. 300ml warm water, approximately. Olive oil to coat.

Easter, other than an excuse to indulge in overpriced bits of chocolate covered in foil, is also our last gasp opportunity at chasing the sun before the seasonal changes are truly upon us. So of course we must eat an Easter egg riddled ice cream sandwich because it combines a love of chocolate with a love of cold churned dairy. What's more to love? 60g salted butter, coarsely chopped. 125 ml (½ cup) pouring cream. 125g soft unsalted butter.

And when do you ever need a reason for meatballs? Or fontina. Or brioche? This number begs to be part of your Sunday night ritual. You. This meatbally, cheesey brioche and a pinot. Most undoubtedly more than one (that applies to both the meatballs and the pinot). 400g pork and veal mince. 1 pinch chilli flakes.

Totalsports Ladies Race in Stellenbosch. September 16, 2015. November 23, 2015. I did the 10km on the 10 of August in Stellenbosch and made the same time as I did in my race in March: 1 hour 12 minutes. Not too bad considering the amount of training I did (i.e. very little). 😛. I really enjoyed the route and the walkers and runners were treated to live acts along the way! I did a 5km a couple of weekends ago and jogged the whole way (a proud moment for me!
