Quintin Lake's photographic Journey walking around Britain's Coast. The Perimeter is a photography project by Quintin Lake based on walking 10,000km around the coast of Britain in sections. The journey started on 17th April 2015 at St Paul's cathedral and I'm following the coast clockwise. I expect the journey will take around 5 years. I hope to learn more about our mysterious island nation and I can't think of anywhere else where each footstep leads to such different surprises, beauty and strangeness.

Losing a friend or losing a ‘Like’ – Turn the heat down

Turn the heat down. Losing a friend or losing a ‘Like’. Daily Prompt: Polite Company. By michelle w. on January 15, 2013. It’s never a good idea to discuss religion or politics with people you don’t really know. Agree or disagree? I am afraid I will have to disagree. In the present context. If you discuss ideology or belief with people you know, and disagree with them, you are on the road to loosing. Your aquaintances or friends. A sort of confidenciality of identity frees us here in the net. Thank you f...

About PerchSpective – PerchSpective

https://quarkybirdy.com/about

Seeing is all in the angle – Sometimes the perch is crooked! Monday, March 13th, 2017. Quarkybirdy', a name that wound it's way from watching Star Trek through to my first parrot. It says a lot about me - I'm quarky, quirky, not a crowd follower, and unique! I'm a student of the world, ever learning, never assuming. I'm old enough to know better, but young enough to believe that nothing worth doing should come easily. I'm a rural resident who loves the cold! 3 replies ». February 13, 2015 at 6:52 pm.

Greg 01 – Imagined Sequence of Events

https://imaginedsequenceofevents.wordpress.com/2016/11/17/greg-01

Imagined Sequence of Events. Hi Greg, I was told you moved to Frankfurt a while ago. What does it feel like to live in a big city like this? Hello Jim, well it was a necessity for me and my job to move to Frankfurt. It’s the place where I work so it saves me a lot of time. Have you ever been stuck in the traffic of Frankfurt during the rush hour? I can tell you, it’s horrible. Such a loss of time and I’m a man who hates inefficiency maybe because of my job, you know? I know, but please give it a go.

Did Pepsi just pay you to order their soft drink on this flight? Rewind an hour or so. In utter irritation and disgust she tosses her frizzy, middle-aged hair. With her dry voice, the flight attendant guilt trips us into checking our bags and alerts us that one of the lavatories is broken. I suddenly realize I would much prefer to be at the proctologist. Skip to search - Accesskey = s. Posted in my everyday life. By Maria on 2014/06/21. Writers, I believe, experience writing as an ebb and flow of creation, versus a steady stream of content. We encounter barren spells. We sit them through. Our fingers itch with stories to tell. Then, we write. I needed to find a new home, and I began my search for temporary occupancies to build something permanent. I took more photos. My sometimes-trepidation (unfounded or otherwise) is about publicity and writing without...
