Tuesday, December 31, 2013. New Year Tinsel Foil Stirrers. Here's a last minute craft for a New Year's party. Tinsel Foil Stirrers! Tinsel sheets about 3" x 4". Scissors, better if you use fringe scissors. Just cut the tinsel sheet into fringes but leave about 1 cm on the top. Wrap the tinsel sheet around the skewer and secure the end with clear tape. I just had a marathon of the TV series last weekend which is why I my creative brain wanted to do something extra fancy for breakfast. Instead of the usual oatmeal or cereal, I made soft boiled egg on blanched asparagus, with baked tomatoes and herbed rice. I'm not a chef so please excuse the plating. I tried. Haha!
