All Things Crafty: Encore Post - Valentines Day Card with Embroidery
http://www.allthingscrafty.com/2015/02/encore-post-valentines-day-card-with.html
Monday, February 9, 2015. Encore Post - Valentines Day Card with Embroidery. I love combining crafts to create items. This time it's embroidery and cardmaking. I searched for the perfect heart pattern and found this heart at abc embroidery designs. I knew this was going to be on my card the moment I saw it. I then cut it out in a square size a smidgen smaller than my cardstock. Placed double-sided tape on the back and placed it on the top section of my card. Hope you enjoy your valentines day!

All Things Crafty: Post 4th of July Flag Finish
http://www.allthingscrafty.com/2014/07/post-4th-of-july-flag-finish.html
Monday, July 7, 2014. Post 4th of July Flag Finish. I displayed my non-binded flag for the 4th of July and now I'm determined to finish binding the flag for future use. There were several options I could have gone with. A solid color, cutting the top and bottom straight, etc. I decided to piece the binding from some leftover tumbler blocks I had to match the colors of the flag edges. Thanks for stopping by! I was thinking that my next project would be a Halloween item, but, then I kept reading about all the Christmas in July projects out there. So, I jumped on the bandwagon and decided to work on my Christmas quilt started last year. Last year I started the Moda Flurry Quilt. I was all excited that I got the center part all pieced together. I hung it up for photos and thought, something doesn't look right?

Saturday, December 31, 2011. Review of the Singer 160 Anniversary Edition Home Sewing Machine. I got a wonderful xmas gift from my DH. The new Singer 160 Anniversary Edition home sewing machine. The moment I saw a photograph of it I fell in love. Of course I have numerous sewing machines, as most sewers and quilters do. So this purchase was definitely a want and not a need. Here is my review. Bobbin winding is a bit fidly - I had to give it a go twice. There is no automatic stop on the bobbin wind...

Textile Diva: Getting my Appliqué On
http://textilediva.blogspot.com/2011/11/getting-my-applique-on.html
Wednesday, November 9, 2011. Getting my Appliqué On. I’ve never liked to do appliqué. I LOVE the way it looks and hold in high esteem for. Others who have mastered this quilting technique. I’m in aught of their skill. I’ve just found whenever I’ve attempted it myself I get all stressed out and grouchy. It’s funny really because I love hand piecing. You would think appliqué would just be a natural extension of that but it’s not, at least not for me. It came about because of the Civil War quilt project.

Textile Diva: Inspiration...
http://textilediva.blogspot.com/2013/08/inspiration.html
Friday, August 23, 2013. Fabric One - Inspiration! The colours of the flowers in fabric one are ones I'm going to use in other elements of LE. I'm so glad I found this because I was beginning to stress over what colours I was going to use as the quilt progressed. The mottled solids will work beautifully with the appliqué flowers to come and looks great against the dark blue background I'm using. Karen - Quilts.etc. August 23, 2013 at 8:35 PM. I would love a rocking chair! I think I will get one soon!
