These Pretty Little Things: December 2013
http://www.theseprettylittlethings.com/2013_12_01_archive.html
Friday, 27 December 2013. New year, new blog, new post. The new year is about to start and I've been trying to come up with ideas on how to juggle my work in a post production house in central London with my hobby of blogging and everything in the beauty-craft-decor world. Although I love my job, I miss being creative and sharing my ideas. So here is These Pretty Little Things. Some of you might be wondering "but what happened to Mango and PassionFruit? Location: Wimbledon, London, UK. A bunch of things.
These Pretty Little Things: NY Trip Days 3, 4 & 5: Museum Marathon
http://www.theseprettylittlethings.com/2014/05/ny-trip-days-3-4-museum-marathon.html
Wednesday, 22 January 2014. NY Trip Days 3, 4 and 5: Museum Marathon. Day 3 - Natural History and Met. Since we arrived the forecast predicted a lot of rain for Tuesday, so we organised our agenda around that, saving for this day as many museums as we could possibly muster. On Mr. Hunter's top list was the Museum of Natural History, and seeing it was so close to our hotel, we decided to go there first. I love Egypt history, find it fascinating. And outside. a view of Central Park. I have to say that of a...

Sunday, 19 January 2014. NY Trip Day 1 (part II): The sightseeing begins here! Continuing from the previous post, we decided to head to Brooklyn Bridge on Sunday morning. This was one of the few sights I didn't go to when in NY in 2006 and I am glad we "covered" it on this trip, as it delivered some really nice surprises. And where was playing a version of Desafinado. Stan Getz and Charlie Byrd, thanks to Shazam! And there we went, towards the business centre of NY, to the World Trade Center site. I thin...
These Pretty Little Things: A few miles up in the air
http://www.theseprettylittlethings.com/2014/01/first-post-of-year-first-real-post-on.html
Sunday, 12 January 2014. A few miles up in the air. First post of the year, first real post on this space. :). I started writing to you from 39000 feet above the ground, somewhere between St. John and Halifax, on my way to NY city. I hope to make of this trip the first of a series (fingers crossed) and to share here all the pretty little things that cross my path. The first one I'd like to introduce is Coelho. Together with Mr. Hunter, he will be my travel companion, and isn't he the sweetest? I am passi...

johanna price — a blog about this & that
A blog about this and that. Is This Thing On? Oh, hello there. It’s a little bit dusty in here. But good to see you. I wasn’t sure I’d ever come back to this space, but I figured I couldn’t close out more than a decade of writing online with a post about Christmas cards. Spring has come. This great rebirth and awakening when the earth comes back to life and you’re reminded that nothing lasts forever, not even winter. There’s your sign. Priceless Holiday Cards {A Minted Review}. April 24, 2011 · 11:45 PM. On waking this morning, my only day off, I decided to go two for two and make dinner for us again. It was definitely a day for carnitas. Grabbed some pork shoulder, put it in the slow cooker for five hours with cumin, paprika, chili powder, garlic, and green chiles. Whew. A hell of a pork chunk went in and shredded pieces came out. I chopped onion, diced tomatoes, julienned sweet peppers, chopped cilantro, and added lime juice with a dash of salt: salsa! This morning I woke and...
