He suffered a traumatic brain injury and faced a host of other life changing traumas. In 2011 he bowled a perfect game. During those twenty five years he recovered from a number of illnesses and disabilities. He almost died again in 2001 after having multiple seizures. Today he is very much alive and continues bowling very well!
