And it is my prayer that your love may abound more and more, with knowledge and all discernment. Phil 1:9. Friday, January 30, 2015. The road goes on forever and the party never ends. So, it's been a while folks since I have entered the blog world. I find myself reading others blogs, but just haven't set aside the time to continue ours. As we get settled in here we are praying for community, relationships, and most of all making the most of our time together as a family. It's a Hadlie sandwich! Jd with h...

And it is my prayer that your love may abound more and more, with knowledge and all discernment. Phil 1:9. Tuesday, February 17, 2015. 1st Day in Australia- Melbourne. We checked into Oaks on Market; lovely hotel, poorly situated with parking and access though (just my 2 cents). Our mission begins for finding a car, getting a bank, insurance, and all the other fun stuff that goes along with moving somewhere new. First stop after checking into Melbourne Taco Bills for some Mexican! View my complete profile.

And it is my prayer that your love may abound more and more, with knowledge and all discernment. Phil 1:9. Wednesday, May 29, 2013. My Mother's Day started out with a bus ride to church. Our boys are growing up so fast. They both know how to use a card to get on the bus, where to sit, and how to look for where to get off. I will say for a 2 year old. too much freedom on a bus. We have no volume control, no extremity control, no personal space. People love our entertainment. ;). This boy is such a helper!

and baby makes three: July 2013
http://thebilberrys.blogspot.com/2013_07_01_archive.html
Wednesday, July 31, 2013. The power of an old red shirt. I remember buying Luke this shirt. I put it in his Daddy survival kit just before Madelyn was born. When he put it on the day that she was born, I never would have dreamed that nearly four years later Madelyn would look this cute dancing around our living room in it! I never would have dreamed that her laughter would literally fill our house. Or that she would be so precocious, full of wit, charm and silliness. Thanksgiving for her health. This mor...

Sunday, August 26, 2012. You have been learning new verses each month in your pre school class at church. Your Daddy and I love your enthusiasm for learning God's word. It continues to amaze me how quickly you pick up the new verses and even recall the ones you've learned in the months prior. Today you started singing (if you can call it that- I'm kidding. I love you, sweet girl. God is always with you. Links to this post. Thursday, August 16, 2012. Just something I am thinking about today. The list coul...

Wednesday, March 28, 2012. The difference a year makes. Dear Madelyn Kate,. We visited the Azalea Trails today. You had fun running around with some of your friends. You did make me a little nervous considering your favorite thing to do to flowers is pick them and pull the petals off, but you mainly just looked today. That's a good thing considering how much time and money the families put in to the gardens so that others can enjoy them. I love everything that makes you YOU! I love you always. Since we t...

The Family Rice: My Elfing Opinion
http://lexirice.blogspot.com/2012/12/my-elfing-opinion.html
Thursday, December 06, 2012. But it is just not for us. Here's why:. 2 The Truth about Saint Nicholas. Has nothing to do with elves or the North Pole, but with giving, and mercy, and love. While Santa WAS a real person, I want to set up the things we tell them now about Santa that will translate easier to the REAL story about the REAL guy. The fewer lies I have to talk my way out of, the better. My family is doing a 24-day children's devotional called " A Meaningful Christmas. This is a daily 2-3 minute ...

The Family Rice: December 2012
http://lexirice.blogspot.com/2012_12_01_archive.html
Wednesday, December 19, 2012. A message for the Class of 2024. It's all been said already. I've read a lot of it. Seems like everyone has a blog and opinion on the events that happened in Newtown, Connecticut last Friday. As always, the tragedy has been politicized, causing emotionally-charged arguments over gun control and mental health issues. I don't want to talk about that. May their hearts feel. When they hear. Let them know they are safe, and protected. And loved. Let us all remember. Has nothing t...
