Wednesday, August 7, 2013. I'll start off by saying that I am SOOO far behind in blogging! Sunday evening, I took Maci to the minor ER for a big case of hives. Rather safe than sorry. Here's what she looked like, poor thing. I do NOT like sandwiches with boogers! I like my boogers PLAIN! RIGHT FROM MY NOSE! I almost died laughing. Oh. my. word. Or because you're too lazy to get up and get a kleenex? To which she replied YES to both. ugh. Then tonight, she asked if I had posted this on facebook yet?

Saturday, June 1, 2013. And that's it. Maci's first year is gone. GONE! I can't believe it. She's the sweetest, happiest, loviest, cutest little baby EVER! But I may be biased. :). See those 3 teeth? As the dr. said, she's a "dracula".lol. At 12 months, Maci:. Has 3 teeth. Her bottom 2 and top right tooth (the second one.) (and as of today while writing this, she's cut her top front right one. But didn't have it right at 12 months :). Sleeps MUCH better at night, waking only once a night to eat. Started ...

This is me. i am going to change the world. wait and see. Monday, October 20, 2008. It's just one of those days. The ones that if you know me, you have most likely heard about. Where my heart just wants to throw up on everyone. :(. I know. it's quite pathetic. Today, I am just pushing through. Looking to God, begging for joy, for peace, for hope, for whatever He has to give me. My emotions are draining my potential. It's a frustrating thing to watch. I have to be who God created me to be. I must find joy.

Thursday, February 6, 2014. I just wanted to pop in and give an update on our Ethiopian adoption! YES we are still adopting. We had a scare last month with the possibility of Ethiopia shutting down international adoption, but after much prayer and fasting our God gave us favor and the country is STILL OPEN! Well, we are just buckling in and waiting it out! We were #47 on the list in August, then we went the wrong way to 49, now we are back to 47. Whew. This crazy adoption. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Tuesday, July 15, 2014. I had a friend recently ask me what advice I could give her about foster care now that I am a foster mom. Her question got me thinking and these are the 4 main things I could come up with! 1Foster care isn't as scary as I thought. 2 They are NOT their files. 3 Older kids are AWESOME. I love that my kids can talk and are somewhat independent. It comes with challenges, but the advantages way out weigh the disadvantages. 4 Our marriage has NOT been ruined. Give 1 Save 1.
