Sharing the experience of love, pains, joys, and anxieties of living with metastatic breast cancer as a wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend. Hope and Persevere…. April 11, 2016. April 11, 2016. Persevere: to persist in anything undertaken; maintain a purpose in spite of difficulty, obstacles, or discouragement; continue steadfastly. I simply roll with the waves, sway with the wind, so to speak. But we had to make a decision and decided to go another 6 weeks with high hopes! April 1, 2016.

I used to see you, know you as one. But lately when I look, something has come undone. There’s still a light in your eyes, as those near you mention. And the smile is present with your children’s attention. But there is a gray, a darker space. A void, a hurt, a sad empty place. Could it be, the scars scattered about. Follow Blog via Email.

Sharing the experience of love, pains, joys, and anxieties of living with metastatic breast cancer as a wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend. March 2, 2016. The heat and the grains of the sand massaged the bottom of my feet as I stepped down the beach. I knew I just had to make it to the water, submerge my body, and all would be ok. With each step closer, my heart drummed inside waiting for the moment. Why hadn’t I known of this before? The salt off the water softly layered my skin. As I resu...

vegan deliciousness: September 2009

http://vegetariandeliciousness.blogspot.com/2009_09_01_archive.html

30 day detox: wrap-up. That being said, my struggle continues to be finding a healthy balance that allows for the occasional treat in an otherwise healthy diet. I don't want to get too fixated on counting calories and macronutrients.I've been there and it's no fun. My goal right now is a 95% healthy diet with a good amount of exercise (not too much, but not too little). I'm glad I did this little detox, as it gave me the push I needed to get back to healthy eating. Wednesday, September 23, 2009. For brea...
