Langdoness: Our Black Swallowtail
http://langdoness.blogspot.com/2010/07/our-black-swallowtail.html
Female Langdon, by marriage. Thursday, July 22, 2010. Today we discovered a big green caterpillar in our parsley plant. Bryan researched it and we're pretty sure our visitor is a caterpillar of a black swallowtail butterfly. A few days ago, Bryan had noticed these yellow eggs on the parsley, but didn't know what they were. Yea for life in Brooklyn! Here are some of our tasty tomatoes. Yum yum. Langdoness: July 2009
http://langdoness.blogspot.com/2009_07_01_archive.html
Female Langdon, by marriage. Saturday, July 25, 2009. Fair Brooklyn, Fair Claire. Today, we strolled through the Brooklyn Botanic Gardens. Everything is beautiful in Brooklyn. Last weekend, my brother Jonathan, his wife Lara, and their 4 1/2 month old daughter Claire stopped in on their way home to North Carolina from their vacation in Maine. They were all nursing colds from the chilly temperatures in Maine- even Claire was sporting her first fever! Saturday, July 18, 2009. Storm Clouds and Baseball.

Langdoness: Simple and Serene
http://langdoness.blogspot.com/2010/08/simple-and-serene.html
Female Langdon, by marriage. Sunday, August 29, 2010. A few weekends ago, we went to Real America for a three day weekend. We canoed at Ricketts Glen, made dinner by campfire, played legos and read books with the boys, and we celebrated my birthday, too, which was really nice. Kevin and Megan and the boys are settling back in Pennsylvania. It is really great to have them closer again. Bryan jumping into the gorge! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Merry Band of Hooligans: October 2011
http://merrybandofhooligans.blogspot.com/2011_10_01_archive.html
Merry Band of Hooligans. These are the days of our lives. Sunday, October 9, 2011. Our Sweet 5 Year Old - Patrick Joseph. Birthday was momentous…I can’t believe that we have a 5 year old. This was tough mentally because now we’ve got a “big kid,” not a little boy. How did this happen? Anyway, Patrick was very excited about all the fun stuff we had planned. He first celebrated in Mrs. Cannon’s class with a cookie cake. He’s really into being a cowboy right now, so for this party, we did a horse. Overall, ...

Merry Band of Hooligans: August 2012
http://merrybandofhooligans.blogspot.com/2012_08_01_archive.html
Merry Band of Hooligans. These are the days of our lives. Monday, August 20, 2012. While we were there, we also went go-cart driving. The track was wooden and circled up and up and up. Sam even rescued a dolphin (stuffed) that someone had lost on the track. Speaking of dolphins, we took a boat ride around the bay and saw real dolphins. You can see the fins in the photos (near a small fishing boat). It was nearly impossible to get a good pic of them. To see all of the pics of our trip, follow me. Emily A&...

Merry Band of Hooligans: July 2011
http://merrybandofhooligans.blogspot.com/2011_07_01_archive.html
Merry Band of Hooligans. These are the days of our lives. Monday, July 25, 2011. Hooligans go to The Magic House. In April, the Hooligans made their inaugural trip to The Magic House. Lots of fun! Then we visited Bob the Builder, and his cat. Apparently we aren't avid fans of Mr. the Builder, because I didn't know he had a cat. Anyway, the kids built and destroyed many things in this room. Eva "drove" a bull-dozer; how appropriate, right? Finally, we found the ball that makes your hair stand on end. ...

Merry Band of Hooligans: Spring Break 2012
http://merrybandofhooligans.blogspot.com/2012/04/spring-break-2012.html
Merry Band of Hooligans. These are the days of our lives. Monday, April 16, 2012. This past week, Sam, Patrick, Eva, and I went on a wild and crazy Spring Break. We went to Chicago (Oswego) first. We stayed at Jaime and Rob's home there. The kids had SO much fun playing together: Patrick and Eva, along with Sophia (7) and William (2). Izzy, the dog, was also tons of fun (I really wanted to steal her! We packed up on Wednesday morning and headed north to Wisconsin Dells/Great Wolf Lodge. On the way, w...

Saturday, April 20, 2013. Corinne's First T-ball Game. Corinne is playing for the Met's! She is number 7, one of mommy's favorite numbers. Daddy is assistant Coach. With teammates, Avery and Alexa. Marin watching the action. As pitcher with daddy. First time at bat. It took a few tries. A little fooling around while waiting to bat. Daddy went out to help her with her second at bat. Daddy had her choke up on the bat since it is much to big for her. This time she hit it on the first try! 1, 2, 3, Go Met's!
