On the hike last weekend, quite early in the morning as I watched the clouds lift up from the towns below , heard the iced dew crunch under my weight and saw the puzzled deer watch me with its beautiful eyes it was with clarity k saw – it is indeed a full circle . I guess this sums up my state of mind . A state of complete self acceptance. I have arrived. Finally....

Saturday, November 13, 2010. Genesis 1-5 God the Creator, God the Bully? My husband, son and I made it through the first 5 chapters of Genesis and I was pleasantly shocked that we enjoyed reading it together. What I thought would be a boring half hour of reciting bible verses was actually a lively discussion! In fact, instead of sounding like a wonderful deity to be honored, in the first several chapters of Genesis, God is made out to be a big bully. Why does he need to rest? Where did god appear from?
