Saturday, October 15, 2011. Here Comes the Bride. Scotty's sister got married in New Orleans a couple of weeks ago. It was a beautiful wedding, and I have never seen Elizabeth and Lawrence so happy! Here are a few pictures from the wedding. We also took some time to walk around New Orleans. It is truly not the most comfortable place for us, day or night. I was totally creeped out by people at night and yelled at by strange folks during the day, but it is beautiful! Here they are in no particular order.

Thursday, July 2, 2009. God is so good. Sadly, we just got back from a wonderfully restful vacation at the beach. It was wonderful to be able to relax and just take things as they come instead of being stressed and planning each second of our trip. We stayed at a beach house belonging to one of our loving covenant family members! It was wonderful. I'm the type of person who always feels like I need to be working on/doing something and here, there was no work to be done. It was fabulous! Here is the house.

Monday, June 1, 2009. Summer Begins. Slowly! Well, I am so trying to be positive and upbeat about the future, but it is looking bleak. I have put in my resume for a couple of teaching jobs in Baldwin County and nothing seems to be working. not very helpful! I, however, refuse to give up and be depressed. Now comes the second problem. I put way too much into school and work. Now that it's summer, I don't know what to do or how to fill my time! I am a little lost and getting bored quickly! Have a great one!

Saturday, May 14, 2011. Spring break this year was absolutely wonderful. I know it was weeks away, but I just felt the need to reflect on it today! Summer is so close. I can taste it! Just 2 short weeks that will probably seem quite long! We spent spring break in Apalachicola, Florida at Scotty's aunt's beach house. It was so wonderful! We went with Matt, Kate, Lydia, and baby-to-come Griffiths. We so treasure our friendship with them. They are such an encouragement to us! May 14, 2011 at 6:09 PM.
