http://thoughtfuleating.blogspot.com/2011/06/challah-french-toast-with-strawberries.html
Challah French Toast with Strawberries and Peaches. Blogger at Thoughtful Eating and Vintage Brand New. Please add my Google profile. But I lived in Massachusetts! I was a little kid here remember! Thick cut bread just begging to be made into French Toast. It's strange, after having been making French Toast for a couple of decades to not have made my specialty for Carlos! I fixed that today and we had a delightful brunch filled with delicious slices of Challah French Toast. 1/2 tsp of cinammon. I ended u...
Thoughtful Eating ~ A Food Blog: An Ode to Market Basket
http://thoughtfuleating.blogspot.com/2014/09/market-basket.html
An Ode to Market Basket. Blogger at Thoughtful Eating and Vintage Brand New. Please add my Google profile. Woburn Market Basket on the day of my return. On this Labor Day, I sat down to think about what Market Basket means to me. Because Market Basket has two basic things that made it the best grocery store around: low prices and variety. We've been able to always afford food thanks to the reliability of Market Basket. When the boycott started, I didn't know what to do and I spent most of the summer ...
Thoughtful Eating ~ A Food Blog: Weekly Meal Plan 9/5-9/11/14

Weekly Meal Plan 9/5-9/11/14. Blogger at Thoughtful Eating and Vintage Brand New. Please add my Google profile. And that means my weekly meal plans are back. I took a hiatus from my weekly planning during the Market Basket boycott. I depended a lot on their sales flyer and had no clue what would be affordable at other stores. Market Basket just released a new circular. This week. It's modest but it's a great start! 8211; Mustard Pork Loin, Asparagus, Garlic Butter Roasted Potatoes. 8211; Roasted Brussels...

The Obsessive Rereader: August 2009
http://obsessiverereader.blogspot.com/2009_08_01_archive.html
A blog about books, mostly. Saturday, August 29, 2009. Something Wicked This Way Comes. Тhe first Ray Bradbury book I read was Death Is a Lonely Business. Exactly ten years ago. It was a very old and very dirty paperback I'd borrowed from the public library - miserable-looking and heavy with that moldy smell old library books always seem to have. Oh how I loved that book! After Death Is a Lonely Business. I recommend you never open it unless you have at least an hour to devote to it. It's primarily a sto...

The Obsessive Rereader: December 2009
http://obsessiverereader.blogspot.com/2009_12_01_archive.html
A blog about books, mostly. Sunday, December 27, 2009. New Year's Resolutions (2010). For the first time in my life, I've decided to make some New Year's Resolutions. And since sharing them with the world (read: the six people who might read this post) will make me feel more accountable, here we go. 2 Learn how to drive. Or at least do some serious research on driving school. Yes, I am 28 and I've never been behind the wheel. Don't you dare judge me! 3 Nurture the poet in me more and do the "30 Days 30 P...
Mad Mama's Meals: November 2010
http://madmamasmeals.blogspot.com/2010_11_01_archive.html
Next to eating good dinners, a healthy man with a benevolent turn of mind, must like, I think, to read about them. William Makepeace Thackeray. Tuesday, November 23, 2010. What Makes Mama Mad? Is one of them. What makes me mad are the sanctimonious bunch who declare they know all about how to keep a kid from becoming a picky eater; who through. Part of my journey this year while I'm studying at the Institute for Integrative Nutrition. 4 Red grapes (under duress). 5 Bananas (under even more duress). The b...

Next to eating good dinners, a healthy man with a benevolent turn of mind, must like, I think, to read about them. William Makepeace Thackeray. Tuesday, October 26, 2010. We can do better. I am absolutely certain of this. What we need is less a health care reform than a total Wellness Reformation. That's right. I'm saying it's our duty to family, nation, and deity to eat our vegetables and abstain from excessive sugar. If so, why? Is this really such a radical notion? Zucchini, broccoli. If it weren'...

Next to eating good dinners, a healthy man with a benevolent turn of mind, must like, I think, to read about them. William Makepeace Thackeray. Sunday, November 7, 2010. Tools I Love, Installment the First. Tonight's dinner was graced by a lovely tzatziki made from garlic, grated cucumber, and Greek yogurt. I adore Greek yogurt - so gorgeous and creamy! Donvier Wave yogurt strainer. Look at the gorgeous, cream cheese texture you get after straining low fat yogurt! 1 clove garlic, minced. 1 tablespoon lem...

Next to eating good dinners, a healthy man with a benevolent turn of mind, must like, I think, to read about them. William Makepeace Thackeray. Thursday, October 21, 2010. A Morning of Ments. A couple hours free in my insane schedule to get back to this blog and where is the photo of my Big Red Box from IIN? So, here, have a picture of my garden produce from July of this year. Isn't it pretty? Couldn't wait to get started! It turns out the box held TWO delicious, lovely layers of wonderful stuff! Actuall...
Mad Mama's Meals: Shame

Next to eating good dinners, a healthy man with a benevolent turn of mind, must like, I think, to read about them. William Makepeace Thackeray. Monday, June 4, 2012. 159 One hundred fifty nine pounds. That's what the scale said to me this morning when I stepped on it wearing nothing more than my cotton Jockeys. At 5 feet 2 inches tall, that's a number I only wanted or expected to see sometime during the third trimester of pregnancy. No, I have no joyous news to announce. How did this happen? Mostly, thou...

A blog about books, mostly. Sunday, November 29, 2009. Bonjour Tristesse by Françoise Sagan. The relationship between Cécile and Cyril is another problem altogether, but I don't even want to talk about it. I've said enough bad things, so I'll leave you with the one almost passable sentence in the entire book. Cécile and Cyril are making love in Cyril's boat, and she says this: "The sun exploded and fell on me.". Links to this post. Friday, November 27, 2009. NaNoWriMo FAIL, but not completely. Two Dysfunctional Mothers
Parenting Tips for the Typical Dysfunctional Family. Friday, October 15, 2010. It's About the Children. OK I've been sitting on this blog for a while. I've wanted to write, but I guess I just needed a little more fuel added to my fire. Why are people so ignorant? A more important question: Why are ignorant people able to breed? I understand some kids need medicine to breath. I know there are situations when a child needs to be on medication. NO child needs to be on cough medicine daily! If they lay there...

A week of healthy breakfast! February 9, 2015. Day 1: Healthy granola. Day 2: Overnight oats with strawberry compote. In a bowl, mash a banana into 2 cups of almond milk then add 1.5 cups of oats and 1 tsp of cinnamon. Place in the fridge overnight. Make a compote by heating up a punnet of strawberries with 1 tsp of sugar and the juice of half an orange on low heat. Simmer for 20 minutes or until strawberries have begun to dissolve, then take of the heat. Day 3: Sprouted bread with avocado and tomatoes.

When a clause is set off with commas, it is nonrestrictive not crucial to the sentence meaning and proper usage calls for. A battery-operated radio, which can be easily purchased, is useful during a power outage. The rule of thumb: If the clause can be removed without losing the point of the sentence, use. If the meaning of a sentence is altered when the clause is removed indicating a restrictive clause use. I specialize in fiction and memoir from short stories to book length manuscripts.
