Which discussed the relative pros and cons of stitching together multiple git repositories using the standard git submodule mechanism and a newer git subtree mechanism. And found that, at least for projects which I plan on having long running divergences which I’m not likely to get accepted by the upstream provider, I favor the subtree mechanism. Which uses a csv file to manage subtrees.
