http://www.thomsoncreekfarm.com/2016_04_01_archive.html
Friday, April 1, 2016. There is just something about mission friends. Tonight I went to a mission reunion. I loved that all of the kids were invited. My kids bonded with the kids of some of the people I love the most. My mission was for sure the best thing I did for myself to prepare me for motherhood and the rest of my life. I loved my mission and highly recommend it to everyone. Links to this post. Dear Max, on your 8th birthday. I want you to know how incredibly lucky I feel to be your mom. This is so...

Monday, March 28, 2016. I just first want to say hats off to every working mother out there. I don't even care if they "chose" this or if you "need" to work. Truth is, what they do is very hard. Today I worked outside of the home. I work on a VERY part time basis for the charter school where my kids hav. I honestly have to say that I am the expert on making life harder than it needs to be, but I come by this organically and am grateful that I don't feel the need to do it to prove something. It is because...

I am a devout member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. We are sometimes called LDS or Mormons. We believe in Christ as our one true Savior. We sometimes use words that may be confusing to those outside of our faith. I want what I write to be understood by everyone. So here is a list of definitions of some of our crazy vocabulary. Some of them are linked for more information. Bishop- The lay minister that presides over our wards. A monthly meeting of the Relief Society Sisters. General C...

Thomson Creek Farm: June 2015
http://www.thomsoncreekfarm.com/2015_06_01_archive.html
Sunday, June 21, 2015. Me and my dad circa 1978. I am a primary chorister for my ward. It is the GREATEST calling in all the world! I love it. I really love it this time around due to the technology benefits of FB groups. In this FB group we can share ideas, ask questions, and glean inspiration from other choristers from around the world. I was surprised when it came time to start preparing for Father's Day, how many. Choristers wanted a Father's Day song that didn't have anything to do with Father's.

Monday, January 18, 2016. I haven't written in a very long time. It use to be my go to method of therapy, creativity, and recreation. It seems to have all disappeared lately. I have never felt like I was a skilled writer. But I did once have a. The typing of the keys anymore. I know that I have felt this way in the past when I have had babies before. I firmly believe that. Have a need to create. I feel like that is something that is born in us. I feel like. Feel the need to create messes. I weaned B abou...

Friday, March 13, 2015. When you have four babies in four years, and then there is a four year gap before you have another—. I was so on my game when I had the twins. I had this baby thing down. After all, I had just had two singletons (twin mom speak for just one baby) in quick succession. I knew the ins and outs of baby sleeping, baby feeding, baby wearing, nursing, tummy time, and baby gear. I decided to throw away the how to books, delete the baby center searches, and just trust my gut. I said to mys...

Thomson Creek Farm: I love Montana
http://www.thomsoncreekfarm.com/2013/06/i-love-montana.html
Wednesday, June 26, 2013. I can’t believe it has been a month since we were driving around the mountains of Montana. It seems like it was just yesterday, and then again, it seems like it was a lifetime ago! As soon as we crossed the border from Idaho to Montana,. A feeling of “being home”. The time that had lapsed helped me to know myself better. I intensely realized the perfect match Montana and I are. If that perfect place had transformed me. Into the person that I am today. Once we pulled into town, a.
