Hi, my name is Stephanie. I was born in Sweden where I lived in Lund, then Umeå, then Trollhättan, and then Göteborg. Then I moved to the United States, and lived in Colorado for a few years, and then in Texas a few more years. Finally, I settled, and I now live in Arkansas with my husband and our two teenaged boys. Posted in on my mind. Leaving on a jet plane. Zane’s “first” ride on an airplane…. (sort of. not counting the one when he was 2 1/2). This is the breakfast snack we got on SAS, about an hour before landing in Copenhagen. Not terrible, for airplane food. Our first night in Sweden – a hotel room near the airport. The Ibis hotel lobby. A little dinner and a strong beer. Jet lag in full swing! The sky at 11:00 PM. A little bit of the Swedish roadside. Mossy rocks, and wild blueberry bushes and pine trees.

Thursday, May 24, 2007. Critique of LOST Season 3 Finale. Those writers are amazing. The "land of the LOST" club has been so much fun. Everyone screaming, laughing, or gasping at all the right moments. The commercials were great breaks for intriguing conversations. I don't think that any of our Lost club meetings ended before midnight. :) We just couldn't get enough of visiting. I invite you back to the "land of the LOST" club in January 2008. Saturday, November 29, 2008. I didn't shop yesterday. I thought I might go for a $59 Guitar Hero at Target but I knew I'd have to be in line a 5:00 am, to get into the store when it opened a 6:00 am, to buy one of the 5 $59 Guitar Heroes that they had. I'd rather pony up the extra $40. If Santa even buys it, which I'm not sure she (or he) wants to. But are they enough of a bargain to trample someone to death. Tuesday, July 22, 2008. I cannot even begin to describe my emotions right now but they are vicariously close to bliss. I received a letter yesterday from Highlights Magazine for Children accepting one of my stories. I have been spontaniously erupting into squeals, songs or cheers ever since. Such a small step but it's a milestone marker for me. I think it's a huge step, way to sell yourself short. :-). I'm proud of you for writing it but even more for having the guts to send it in.
