Words of wisdom - an IT dad
http://timvoet.com/2013/12/18/words-of-wisdom
Updated on December 18, 2013. I was lucky enough to have a wise uncle who taught me a whole bunch of interesting and useful things, ranging from picking up women to choosing what’s important to you, and giving those things the attention and effort they require. Perhaps some of those things will appear as entries at a later time. The 3 things are here, in no particular order. Mattress image from wikihow. Donate Bitcoin to Tim. Leave a Reply Cancel reply. Updated on January 1, 2014. 2013 in review: taking a moment. Well its the new year, so Happy New Year everyone. I try to do this every year, not always on this blog, but at least in general to review how things went in the previous year, what happens and such. We have even welcomed a new addition Zeus. As a parting note, 2014 isn̵...
The Open Office Layout - an IT dad
http://timvoet.com/2014/01/20/open-office-layout
The Open Office Layout. Updated on January 20, 2014. The Open Office Layout. I have over the past couple of years had the privilege of working with some wonderful companies. I like to think myself a lucky person as each and every one of those companies had decidedly different views and approaches to taking care of its employees. I came across this article. On the New Yorker, and it make me stop and think about my experiences. I decided that I would share those here, and my options about them. For technic...

After spending almost the entire year looking forward to it, I finally attended not only my first conference but my first CAST! The first day consisted of four full-day tutorials. Attendees were given the choice to attend any one of four full-day tutorials, they all looked intriguing but the one I choose to register for was End to End agile Testing with Paul Holland. Testing the application and filing bugs.

I continued my answer to the question with a brief explanation of what I meant, without going on for an extended period of time making it seem like a speech or a lunch and learn. I explained that I don’t spend my testing time doing things “the old way” (I actually found a better term for it thanks to Keith Klain. Some blogs I follow. Michael Bolton – Developsense.
