Cha Cha Chow: August 2008
http://chachachow.blogspot.com/2008_08_01_archive.html
Assorted musings on my dog, the Internet and other stuff, but mostly on my dog. Monday, August 25, 2008. We have a houseguest this week: she’s a nine-year-old blue heeler/pit bull mix named Ripple. Her people are on the East Coast for a wedding, so Ripple is staying with us for awhile. Leo has been to Ripple’s house a couple of times, and Ripple has visited us on several occasions. For the most part, they have continued to ignore each other. 8221; I grabbed her bowl and put it on the dining room table...

Cha Cha Chow: March 2009
http://chachachow.blogspot.com/2009_03_01_archive.html
Assorted musings on my dog, the Internet and other stuff, but mostly on my dog. Tuesday, March 10, 2009. Last Tuesday, Leo and I were out for our early morning walk. It was a beautiful morning with mild temperatures and a bit of pink sun peeking out from the clouds. We were in the home stretch: He had pooped and we were heading for home. Thoroughly relaxed and content, I was contemplating what I would have for breakfast (Cereal or bagel? Judging by the maggots, and the stench, I knew the meat was well be...

Cha Cha Chow: May 2010
http://chachachow.blogspot.com/2010_05_01_archive.html
Assorted musings on my dog, the Internet and other stuff, but mostly on my dog. Friday, May 28, 2010. Rosie, Lily and Poppy were settling into their new home quite nicely. Jason’s chiropractor, Cliff, had agreed to take them, adding them to his original herd of five chickens. 8220;What’s three more? 8221; he said when Jason asked if he could provide a foster home for the ladies. What he didn’t anticipate was a subterranean strike. Friday, May 14, 2010. 8221; I declared. When Jason and Chris sold their ho...

Cha Cha Chow: October 2008
http://chachachow.blogspot.com/2008_10_01_archive.html
Assorted musings on my dog, the Internet and other stuff, but mostly on my dog. Tuesday, October 28, 2008. Leos in the News. My friend Stan sent me this story over the summer: it’s about a pit bull named Leo. Who was rescued from Michael Vick’s dog fighting ring and rehabilitated to serve as a therapy dog to cancer patients. And speaking of Michael Vick, my dear mother-in-law sent my Leo a Michael Vick chew toy. Gotta love her sense of humor! On the other end of the doggie spectrum is this Leo. Little la...

Cha Cha Chow: January 2009
http://chachachow.blogspot.com/2009_01_01_archive.html
Assorted musings on my dog, the Internet and other stuff, but mostly on my dog. Monday, January 26, 2009. Wow - I've been a real slacker here. Work has been crazy busy and we've been renovating our kitchen. But I'll save that for another post. The real story is that the company I work for, findingDulcinea, is launching a new and better search engine called SweetSearch. My future employment depends on it! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Cha Cha Chow: June 2008
http://chachachow.blogspot.com/2008_06_01_archive.html
Assorted musings on my dog, the Internet and other stuff, but mostly on my dog. Monday, June 30, 2008. I’m delighted to report that I’m married now. So many barely perceptible changes have taken place. My fiancé (a term I was never comfortable using) has now become my husband. My eyelash extensions have all fallen out, leaving my stubby blonde lashes in their wake. And I have a thick band of silver on my left hand that glows like moonlight and makes me feel so very Grown Up. I rode to the ceremony with m...

Cha Cha Chow: December 2008
http://chachachow.blogspot.com/2008_12_01_archive.html
Assorted musings on my dog, the Internet and other stuff, but mostly on my dog. Friday, December 5, 2008. Need Holiday Gift Ideas? Here’s a little push for a book I read recently called “ The Dogs Who Found Me. What I’ve Learned From the Pets Who Were Left Behind” by Ken Foster. As it turned out, our first meeting was rather anticlimactic. He was sleeping, as I detailed in an earlier post, and when we retired to the playroom to get to know each other better, he seemed more interested in playing with ...

Friday, July 11, 2008. Welcome to Madison County Eats! As stated at my home blog ( Terri's Tantrums and Treasures. I am in a perpetual cylce of diet and exercise, countered with bouts of cheap beer and otehr bad habits. In an effort to improve our health, outlook and lifestyle, Shawn and I have made the conscious choice to go out most weekends and get a good meal (in leiu of getting stumbly drunk and blowing the rest of the weekend in recovery :-#). Happy Dining - TLG. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).
