Upon reaching Aberdeen, follow the signs to Hwy. 101 N - to Hoquiam and Ocean Beaches. DON'T TAKE WESTPORT EXIT. Move to the left lane as you cross the Hoquiam bridge. We set out on an early Saturday morning with a good little drive ahead of us and a basket full of lunch and treats! We knew it wasn't optimal ocean weather, but we were in for a surprise when we drove onto the sandy beach. According to locals, snow is a rare treat on the shores. Pretty beautiful seeing a snowy beach. A newly constructed village- love the cheerful colors. And so is coffee!
