E are beginning preparations for the 150. Anniversary of the Battle of Trevilian Station. But all of this must take a back seat to our effort of preserving the battlefield. The Civil War Trust just came to the aid of the effort recently with a one acre purchase. While that may not seem like much, the one acre contained a non-period house which hopefully may eventually be removed. Such purchases are important to the effort to restore the view to 1864.

In the past ten years the goals of the Trevilian Station Battlefield Foundation have gone from elusive dream to a breath taking 2000 acres saved. With help from the Civil War Trust this land has been saved not only for it's historical significance but also as a place where the public can enjoy the land's natural beauty.
