It fills all the criteria. different (very ).narrow gauge (very ) and simple to build (Well it's only got one driven wheel and no frames.). I thought the overhead guide rail could be brass and fed with 240v mains, using a domestic water heater element ( a la Hornby. ). I think HST engineers missed a trick here!

A great event with challenging courses the 100 mile ( 160 km ) visiting both Exmoor and Dartmoor travels through some of the most scenic countryside in the British isles with great climbs and long sweeping descents. The 100 km course offers the same challenges but in a smaller package, ideal for beginners and seasoned riders with support throughout. A really great day out!
