Wargaming in the Near Future with Winttrix. Yes, something new once again. Let's hope this gets finished. My finished group of US soldiers. Three fireteams, one .50 sniper team, a TOW HMMWV, and an ambulance have been finished. The Bradley has been show before. The figures are Ceasar and Revell. Elhiem figures will be used to round out a platoon. Three conversions to work on until I make that Elhiem order. Two Ceasar figures modified into CCTs and one Airfix conversion for Saddam's Army. NATO lies in wait.

Wargaming in the Near Future with Winttrix. While it may not fit with the "ultramodern" title of this blog, I am taking on a new period, the Rhodesian Bush War. I am starting with the terrain, and as I hate doing terrain, I want to get it all done before even any figures are ordered. The bases are painted with a brown artist acrylic and drybrushed with V. Thursday, February 16, 2012. Here's an artillery observer for my AFSR (Armed Forces of Southern Russia) forces. I've painted him as a test figure for the uniform. It's weird not doing camouflage for once, I found myself strangely struggling with getting a "one-color" uniform just right. I'm not at all satisfied with how they turned out, but I'm cutting myself some slack because they are the first time I've used both the dipping technique and a white basecoat. Fredag 21. september 2012. Loooong time, no see. På tide å få bloggen opp og gå skikkelig. Eg leser bloggar i massevis, og lar meg inspirere, uten at det viser nokon plass. Dette håpar eg skal forandre seg no, :-). Det er mykje som skjer for tida. Eg er blitt deltidsstudent, har begynt på lærarutdanning. Spennande, og skremmande på samme tid. Er ikkje berre lett å sette seg på skulebenken når ein er 40 år gitt. Men det er veldig kjekt, og eg ser fram til alt eg skal lære. Prinsen vår er blitt heile 10 år!
