The second picture is Line- for those of you that know her. We were at a wedding together this past weekend. Wednesday, May 23, 2012. Savannah took two dance classes this year- a hip-hop and a cheer/tumbo combo. Although my long lanky daughter is not the most graceful creature (but don't tell her that, because she has NO idea! She had a blast. Wednesday, August 15, 2012. First Day of School 2012. Today was the first day of school for our BIG 2nd grader! She was a little nervous, but excited to go see all her friends and her new class room. They move into the bigger desks this year, so she will have her very own desk and she was most excited to see where here seat was going to be :-) Here are some pictures from the morning. Monday, July 25, 2011. We returned last week from another WONDERFUL week at Lawrence Welk in Escondido. It is not exotic or particularly fancy, but we absolutely love it there! We went to Legoland, a Padres game and had some visits from friends and family. The rest of the time we played at the pool and enjoyed some quiet family time without any interruptions from work- ahhh, so nice! Here are some pictures from our trip. Waiting for the water to drop. One day Dylan will let us get a good family picture!

Sunday, September 09, 2012. Last weekend we went down to the central coast for the 3rd annual Mitch-a-Palooza :-) As is tradition, we dropped the kids of with Poppy and Papa (thank you Pam and Dell! Gabi and Chris at Dark Star/Brian Benson Cellars. Chris and Mitch getting ready to take the Suri for a ride! Sunset from our rooftop deck. Monday, July 30, 2012. We recently went down to Escondido and stayed at the Lawrence Welk Resort. This was our 4th year and we all had such a great time! We spent quite a few days at the pool and enjoyed a visit from Uncle Kevin, Auntie Karin, Coral and Kai AND another day with Gigi and Papa. We took the the Coaster ( a really fast train) to San Diego and went to a Padres game. Dylan LOVED being on that train- he was so excited! Coral, Savannah, Kai and Dylan- cousin LOVE! Monday, September 12, 2011. Meet Murdoch and Sparkles. Yes it is true- the kids talked us into getting another pet- or pets. Although in hindsight I don't really think it took much convincing. Mitch may even have initiated the idea. The good news is that they are fairly low maintenance and the kids are really enjoying them.
