The main components of the lab include:. 0015 K base temperature Oxford 3He/4He dilution refrigeration system. 15 K base temperature 4He 'dipping' refrigeration system. 17 T Oxford Instruments single-axis superconding magnet system. 5T/7T two-axis double solenoid superconducting vector magnet. These are housed in an electrically sheilded metal room (described below) in order to eliminate noise and unwanted heating effects of RF radiation.
