The Old Chapel, Burlawn. The Cornish coast has a deserved reputation for its beauty. In fact it's designated by the Government as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The East and West sides of the Camel estuary offer beautiful beaches. On the west side, the beaches. Are about a half mile walk from Padstow. Across the ferry to Rock and the sand dune's run round past St Enodoc's church (where John Betjeman is buried) to Daymer Bay and a beautiful deep sandy beach.

The Old Chapel, Burlawn. The greatest variety of wildlife in the area is best seen in the Camel Valley as it provides such a range of habitat in a a relatively short distance. The section of the valley between Bodmin and Wadebridge is home to wild otters. But you do have to be lucky to see a family playing in the river. If you're unlucky, you can visit the Tamar Valley otter sanctuary where they breed the otters to release back into the wild.
