Wanna-be 5k-er...again!

In a half hour. Ok, 15 minute mile as a walker. I did jog a block here and there, but it did tire me out a bunch, so the last mile I stuck to brisk walk. This walking (as was running) is a welcome stress buster, at least for a half hour, lol. 2 more walking 3 milers. Wed - 3.4 miles. Friday (tonight) - 3.1 miles. Total this week: 9.9 miles! Ugh, wish I had broght the Garmin if I had known my weekly total would be such an untidy number). I was moving at a good clip, did about 3.4 miles in about 52 min.

Wanna-be 5k-er...again!: Run One, Walk One

Run One, Walk One. 18 miles in about 25 min. Run 1, Walk 1. Getting a bit easier, this is the fourth day I've gotten out there. I am working on just getting out every other day. Been wrapped up in Dad stuff. Found a lawyer yesterday, want to know how to proceed now that he cannot take care of bills and house. Took him to neurologist today to confirm that his memory will only get worse, not improve. I have to get back out there and get healthy for my own kids down the line. Libellés : back in action.
